Why did I keep my maiden name?
Why don't more women keep their maiden name is my question. Only about 30 percent of women choose to keep their own name and since I've enjoyed being in the minority most of my life (at least when it comes to politics and social issues), I thought I would continue marching to the beat of my own drum. I think of myself as a Maddux and that's what I will continue to be. I love Richard and one of the reasons I do is because he's cool with most of what I do.-miriam
